Description: Mission of The Arc Greater Twin Cities: To secure for all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families the opportunity to realize their goals of where and how they live, learn, work and play.

What we'll be doing

Volunteers will unpack, sort, tag, hang and sticker donated items such as clothing, dishes, books, CDs, etc. Volunteers will also stock these similar items on the sales floor.

What you should know

Volunteers should wear very casual, comfortable clothing, especially on the feet as they will stand most of the time.  Tennis shoes are ideal footwear.  Arc's Value Village in Richfield is located at 6528 Penn Avenue South.  We are at the north end of a strip mall on the northwest corner of 66th and Penn.  From 62/Crosstown, go south on Penn four blocks and Value Village will be on the right just before 66th.  Parking is available in the lot near the front of the store as well as on the side/north end of the store.  Call the store directly at (612) 861-9550 if you get lost and need help finding us!

Where to meet

Volunteers will enter the front door of the store and will be met by a store manager or supervisor who can then lead them into the back room where volunteers will gather before getting started.
